The Most awarded Port Wine Brand of 2017

In 2017 Sandeman was the world's most awarded Port Wine Brand in the wine sector's most significant international competitions.

We are pleased to announce that Sandeman was the most awarded Port Brand in 2017, collecting a total of 25 awards in these three prestigious International Competitions: Decanter World Wine Awards (9), International Wine Challenge (7) and International Wine and Spirits Competition (9), two of which were gold medals and one a platinum/Best Tawny Porto.

An even more amazing achievement is the fact that between 2013 and 2017 Sandeman was the most awarded Port Wine brand, by Decanter, International Wine Challenge and International Wine and Spirits Competition, having received a total of 146 distinctions. 

Sandeman’s most awarded wine over the last five years has been Sandeman Porto Tawny 40 Years Old, which won the prestigious Decanter World Wine Awards gold medal in 2017.

With more than 225 years of history, Sandeman's portfolio speaks for itself: 24 award-winning wine references, resulting in a total of 378 awards.
